Smiths Deluxe A404 from 1956. This watch is in excellent condition with a clear crystal and a clean dial with original, lumed numbers and the gentlest of uniform patina's. The watch measures 33mm in diameter not including the crown, 18mm lugs and the chrome plated case has been fully restored.

The 15 jewel'made in Cheltenham' movement is clean and has been fully serviced, hence the watch keeps good time. Fitted with a leather strap in keeping with the original, a real collectors piece and in superb, expedition condition the last photo is the a404 watch sir edmund hillary wore to everest in the museam.
