WW2 Steel Cyma Tavannes Officers 17 Jewel Navy Military Wrist Watch dating from 1945. The watch recently cleaned and overhauled and comes with a two year mechanical warrn. Mint watches in this condition, can only rise in value, given the limited supply of such items. The original satin silver with Roman numerals and signed Cyma Swiss Made. , with some small marks as expected for a watch of this period and patination.

Dial with original silver steel dauphone hands and sub-seconds. The new crystal is also in excellent condition. With silver steel colored plates.

The watch with a compensate regulator and two arm bimetallic balance, with overcoiled hairspring and "Cyma Tavannes". The movement with 17 jewels. The movement with a steel winding button. The Cyma movement is a fabulous example of high grade Swiss engineering with sub-centre seconds work.

95% mint, the two piece chrome and stainless steel case measures 30 mm outside diameter and 39 mm to ends of the flared lugs. The two piece piece case is in used condition, with a snap on stainless steel back signed Cyma and case number 28,379, xx.

The case centre band with some wear, top cover and rear cover both very fine. 100% mint, the watch comes with an expanding steel watch band.

The watch keeps excellent time and is very useable for every-day wear or for best wear on holidays and birthdays. A truly unique and unusual gift or just a special present for an annivesary, wedding or birthday or for yourself. Any dark areas or marks on highly polished surfaces are almost certainly reflections from the camera or lighting equipment.
